<p style="text-align: justify;">
<p style="text-align: justify;">Mr. Mashuda spoke to attendees about the important economic impact of successfully transferring small businesses ownership from the current owner or founder to an acquiring third party.  His presentation included information about how to identify businesses that may benefit from a third party sale, the importance of properly pricing the business in order to attract third party investment, and how to effectively work with independent lending institutions to develop financing packages that attract outside investment.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Small businesses employ millions of people across Pennsylvania and maintaining continuity of ownership is critical to the vitality of both the local and national economy.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">On April 18, 2012 River’s Edge Alliance Group hosted “The TRUTH About Selling Your Business” at the DoubleTree Hotel in Independence, OH, a south suburb of Cleveland.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Attendees had the opportunity to interface directly with senior members of the River’s Edge Alliance Group team and gather first hand information about the process of transferring business ownership.  Lots of detailed information was exchanged including:</p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>How to determine a proper asking price</li>
<li>The importance of having third party representation</li>
<li>How to maintain confidentiality; and</li>
<li>The importance of developing personal chemistry with potential buyers</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Following the seminar attendees had nothing but positive things to say about the experience including, “I really enjoyed the presentation,” and “very professional and informative.”</p>

Mashuda the managing director of River’s Edge Alliance Group</span></a></span> spoke to the attendees of the Western Pennsylvania Association of SBA-Guaranteed Lenders Quality Circle Conference in Seven Springs, PA.</p>
<p>The conference was attended by over 150 government guaranteed lenders, SBA Administrators, Small Business Development Centers, and community development organizations.</p>
<p>Mr. Mashuda spoke  about “Understanding Business Acquisitions and Valuations.”  Specific topics of discussion included:</p>
<ul>
<li>How value is determined</li>
<li>How to know the difference between a good deal and a bad deal</li>
<li>When to spend your time reviewing a potential transaction; and</li>
<li>How to quickly determine if a deal is of interest to your bank</li>
</ul>
